PASSIVE FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS AND THE FIRE COMPARTMENTATION OF A BUILDING HAS SEVERAL MAIN PURPOSES:

SAVE LIVES

Firstly and most importantly to save lives and assist the fire service in successfully extinguishing the fire.

DELAY SPREAD

To slow down or delay the movement and spread of fire and smoke from one area of a building to another.

CLEAR ESCAPE

To prevent escape routes from becoming smoke logged, thus facilitating a quick and safe exit from the building.

MINIMISE DAMAGE

To assist in minimising the damage to both the property and assets contained within.

Our surveys/inspections are carried out by qualified operatives, in accordance with Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) and BM Trada - Fire Doors. To do this we utilise an electronic management application, Bolster.
